Disclaimer: GW doesn’t belong to me. Nuff said.
He does it almost every night. He waits until he thinks I’m asleep before he sneaks out, trying his best not to make any noise whatsoever. The first time he disappeared like that, I had no idea where he had gone to and it was only by accident that I discovered that he was in Trowa’s room.
Yeah, you heard that right. Heero sneaks into Trowa’s room at night. I always thought those two had something going on. You can see it in the way Heero stares at Trowa when he thinks he isn’t looking. It kind of freaks me out how little either of them talks, but then they’ve never really needed words to communicate anyway.
I don’t know why the Hell Heero doesn’t just take up permanent residence in Tro’s room. Hell, I know where he goes every night and I’m sure Quatre and Wufei has noticed too. It’s actually kind of funny. I don’t think Heero’s caught onto the fact that we’re aware of his nightly excursions.
He and I share a room just like Wufei and Quatre do. Trowa’s the lucky one, he gets a room all to himself. Well, at least he did before Heero decided to start playing their little game.
It’s almost like a routine. We all turn in around midnight. Well, Quatre insists on heating up some milk to drink before bedtime even though you can guarantee he’ll be up a couple of hours later needing to pee because of it.
Usually I can fall asleep at any moment, but I like to tease Heero sometimes by taking my sweet time in pretending that I’m about to fall asleep. He just sits there messing about with that God damned laptop of his, waiting for me to drop off before he can leave.
As soon as he thinks I’m asleep, he’s gone, closing the door silently behind him before going off in search of his sweetheart. At first, I thought they were doing the horizontal tango and it confused the Hell out of me how they could be so damned quiet about it. I mean, come on. Not even uni-bang boy could be as silent making love as he was in every day life. All they ever do is sleep together and I mean that literally.
I think it’s a comfort thing for both of them though. Well, when I stumbled in and found them curled round each other, they looked pretty damned comfortable. It was one of the more bizarre experiences of my life…Mr. ‘Omae o korosu’ likes to snuggle? Who’d have thought?
Seeing Trowa without that hair covering half his face was also pretty weird. When he’s asleep, it sort of flops to the side so that you can see both of his eyes. Well, you would if they were open but even closed, it’s still a little odd. At least now I know he isn’t a Cyclops or anything.
It’s almost sickeningly cute to see them in each other’s arms like that, but it’s also kind of sad to know that they’ll only ever indulge in that comfort when they think there’s no one else around. Hell, everyone needs a little love in their lives, right?
That’s another thing that makes me laugh. I don’t think they’ve quite realised the fact that they’re in love with each other yet. Either that or they don’t want to admit it, which I wouldn’t put past Heero.
Like I said before though, he watches Trowa when he thinks he can get away with it. Then there’s the silent communication thing between them. And if that isn’t enough, I’ve seen Heero checking out Trowa’s ass from time to time.
I sometimes wonder which one of them would be the most likely to make the first move. My bet’s on Trowa. Okay, so he won’t come out with anything like, ‘Dammit, Heero! Quit staring at my ass and just do me already!’ That’s more my style anyway.
Maybe I should help them along. You know, just give them a little push in the right direction. It’d need careful planning though; I don’t intend to do anything that will end up with me having Heero’s gun to my head. The guy has a pretty short fuse sometimes. I don’t know how Trowa puts up with him. I guess love really is blind.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of helping Heero and Tro get together. After all, there’s nothing like helping out a friend in need, right?
Look out guys; Shinigami the matchmaker extraordinaire is on the prowl…
