"Where is that baka?" Heero fumed as he paced across the carpet. Duo stormed out angrily at 8, it was now midnight. "Heero, please stop pacing, you're making us all nervous." Quatre said. "Well, who do you two have to blame?" Wufie glared at them.
Lila sighed, trying to regain her breath, leaning on Duo's shoulder. "Duo...no more jokes." she said tiredly. He just smiled. He had spent the last two hours telling her all the jokes he knew...she spent most of that time clinging to him to keep from laughing herself off the log. "You still with me babe?" he asked as she took another deep breath. "Not completely..." She laughed and held her sore ribs. He rubbed his hand along her side, helping her get rid of the pain...he never saw someone who laughed as much as he could. "She's so easy going, good natured, much more understanding than most people I know." He thought as she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. "She reminds me of Sister Helen." He thought as he glanced at her, she yawned and slowly blinked her big, brown eyes...like a cat would. "She can't be real...she's too kind...nicer to me than Heero." He thought "Ohmygod! Heero! I totally forgot the time!" He quickly looked at his watch...12:19. "Oooh shit, I'm in for a big lecture now." He mumbled, a lil' worried...but then Lila snuggled her head into his shoulder. "Oh shit, what am I gonna do about her? I can't leave her here....alone...in the woods." He muttered. But how to keep Heero from shooting her, since he saw her that afternoon, he was sure Heero had. "What am I gonna do?" He looked down at the girl.
"That's it! I'm going out and drag that American baka by his fuckin' braid back here." Heero growled and snatched up his coat. But just as he got to the porch...who should happen to walk out of the woods? Duo...with a girl?! Heero felt a pang of jealousy as he saw the girl in Duo's favorite black jacket...laughing along with him as they walked out of the dark forest.
"Here we are." He smiled to Lila as they got to the porch...by then all the guys had gathered on the porch to see the new comer. "Guys, meet Lila." She smiled and let Quatre take her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Quatre Raberba Winner." She smiled and blushed a bit. "He's like Zechs...so aristocratic." She thought. She looked up...a little puzzled and counted. "Hey, where's that Chinese dude?" She asked Duo who just laughed. "He had to go to the bathroom." He snickered. "I'm afraid to ask." She said to the blonde who giggled a bit. Then a tall boy came over. "This is Mr. Silent...Trowa Barton." Duo laughed. "It's a pleasure." He said smiling a bit. "And last but not least...Heero." Duo said, pointing to him.
"Who was the disappearing Chinese boy?" Lila smirked. "Oh, that was Wufie Chang, Mr. Justice himself." "Why did he leave so soon?" She asked, still puzzled. "Nosebleed." Trowa said and she blushed."Oh dear...oops." She grinned at Duo who was laughing. "Don't worry, I give him nosebleeds a lot for fun." Duo grinned. "Now I'm scared." She mumbled, hearing Duo's jokes told her a lot of how he tormented Chang.
