The first three weeks past peacefully, going quite smooth as she gained their trust and affection as a team-mate. She didn't know Treize was still on a mad search for her, then at the end of the fourth week as she finished her early morning shower she smiled as she finished brushing her damp tresses, and put in the golden dragon clips. Then she pulled her favorite outfit on...red pants that stopped at the knee, with gold trim on the bottom and a matching red tank with a golden dragon. "I hope this doesn't cause a stir." She smiled as she peeked out the door...not a soul in sight, she quickly snuck out into the garden. As she strolled along the path, she stopped to smell a white rose, unaware of the figure behind her. "Beautiful." He thought as he tried to sneak closer, but his efforts backfired and he snapped a twig quite loudly. "Who's there?" She jumped, her loose hair flying in the breeze...but he'd already gone. "Must've just been Duo." She shrugged her shoulders and continued out the gate, her shoes slapping the cold bricks. "Almost sunrise." She said aloud as she passed through the gate of Quatre's Manor and headed down the clear path to the bay. When the white sands were visible, she took off like an excited child and ran to the surf. But she ended up tripping over a meditating Wufie, whom she'd grown fond of during her short stay. "Wufie?" She asked as she took off her shoes and emptied the contents. "Lila..." He never completed his sentence as he was too busy gapping at her attire. "What? You don't like my outfit?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Huh?" He asked as he was shook from his thoughts. "Grrr, damnit Wufie answer me...why are you here so early." She said sternly. "Meditating, training, thinking, why?" He stated, blinking peacefully. "Just wondering." She blushed a bit, when a bright light shot across the horizon. "Oh...how beautiful." She gasped, sitting in the sand, gazing at the multi-color sunrise. "I agree..." He smiled, sitting besides her. "Oh...I never really had time to enjoy the little things in life." She commented as she stood up, leaving her shoes behind and wading knee deep into the waves. Wufie sighed and kicked his shoes off to join her. Wufie finally admitted to himself that he was falling for the girl, and she tried to work up the nerve to tell him the same. How she came to love the exotic boy was unknown to her, she just knew her heart fluttered every time he got close. Trying to figure this out, along with splashing each other consumed the only hour of peace they had before Duo woke up.
"Lila! Yo, Lila!" He shouted in the garden, looking in every bush and shrub. "Duo, why would she be in there?" Quatre asked as he came outside. "Why wouldn't she?" "Probably because she's not hiding in there." Trowa said from his perch on the wall. "Then where is she, smarty-pants?" Duo asked. "She's on the beach." "How do you know?" "Look, baka." Duo looked through Trowa's binoculars and he double took...Lila and Wufie where splashing water at each other, laughing like crazy. "What's she doin' out there with Wu-man?" Duo muttered and tossed Trowa his binoculars and ran out to the bay. "Yo Lila!" He yelled, the two both looked up in shock as the American barged into the surf. "So much for peace." Wufie muttered. "I agree." She said before the American pounced on her. "I though ya left." She rolled her eyes and drug her & the human barnacle out of the water. "Must find crow-bar." She muttered as Wufie helped her unattach Duo. "Why are you two out here...alone???" Duo grinned. "Maxwell!" Wufie blushed slightly. "Frankly, it's none of your business." Lila said, crossing her arms, knowing his curiosity would drive him nuts. "What?! Tell me!" He begged, glomping on Wufie's waist. A sudden scream grabbed both boys attention. "Let me go!!!" Lila struggled as the OZ soldier drug her to his Aries. "Lila!" the guys ran after them, but they were too late. "Damn!" Wufie cursed and then he sprinted to the glen where the Gundams where hidden. "Wu-man! Wait up!" Duo shouted as he ran up to Deathsythe Hell. "Lets go." "Where?" Wufie asked, confused as he started up his Gundam. "She told me the location of the base last night, as we talked about the "events" that happened there." Duo said as he flicked on the monitor. "It's 75 miles north of here." He said as they took off, closely followed by the others, who arrived just in time. "Now, we can save Lila and destroy OZ in one blow." Duo smirked. "Yea, let's hope we're not too late." Wufie muttered.
"Ah my dear." The OZ soldier grinned as he stroked her hair. "Master Treize has big plans for you." "We'll see about that." She thought as they arrived. "Take her to my office, at once!" Treize ordered. He posted Lady Une as security. When he entered, she was stripped and bound to his desk...exactly as he ordered. "My little angel, what must I do to keep you here?" He asked, in a deadly voice as he began to unbutton his jacket. Her eyes widened.
